Deep down, I'm a storyteller at heart. Telling stories takes many forms, and over the years I've explored a lot of them. I've told stories from many sources and cultures, written a few of my own, captured some on film (now pixels!), some with refrigerator boxes, and others in fabric and paper collage.

Just as the words "Once upon a time..." prepare you for a story you are about to hear, the frame and display of a picture prepare you for the visual story you are about to see. Designing just the right frame and placement for your valued art and keepsakes is like imagining just the right details to make a story vivid for a listener.

Beside design skills, custom framing also requires technical skills and knowledge of state-of-the-art conservation practices in order to preserve your precious items. I am a member of the Professional Picture Framers Association (PPFA), and continue my professional development with seminars and workshops on a regular basis.
